Steele Family Farm’s  Herbal Healing Salve is made using natural ingredients and topped off with goat milk taking advantage of its natural healing properties.

Healing Salve is a powerful blend of medicinal herbs, natural butters and oils, and plant extracts.  For centuries, Herbalists have used these ingredients to make a salve to promote natural healing.

May be used for minor wounds, cuts, scrapes, insect bites and damaged skin.

Directions:  Apply a small amount to the clean and dry wound.

Ingredients: Olive Oil infused with Calendula, Comfrey, Echinacea, Yarrow and Rosemary, Beeswax, Goat Milk, Lavender Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Vitamin E, Optiphen Plus.

Benefits of Ingredients:

Calendula – is as a gentle anti-viral, an anti-inflammatory, as well an antibacterial agent. Known as a wound healer.

Comfrey – anti-inflammatory to promote healing when applied topically. 

Echinacea- natural anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants

Goat Milk contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. It contains many vitamins and is high in Vitamin A, which works to repair damaged skin tissue and maintain healthy skin.

Lavender Essential Oil- believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to heal minor burns and bug bites

Plantain- has long been considered by herbalists to be a useful remedy for cough, wounds, inflamed skin or dermatitis, and insect bites.

Rosemary- The anti-inflammatory properties of rosemary extract help to reduce swelling and puffiness, heal burns and soothe skin.

Tea Tree Essential Oil- known antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-oxidant, and these actions will help reduce inflammation and enhance healing

Yarrow – since the times of ancient Greece, yarrow has been used in poultices and ointments to treat wounds. The legendary Achilles used yarrow as a field dressing for his soldiers’ wounds in the Trojan War, and the plant is named for him. It is known as a “styptic” – an astringent herb that stops bleeding.

    My kiddo received a nasty chemical burn from a hair dyeing experiment. Within a week the wound is practically gone. You would have to really pay attention to her face to even see where it was. I put the healing salve on it twice a day for the last week and it made such a difference!
