“The Lucky Few” is a phrase coined by a group of women who got matching tattoos at a retreat for moms of children with Down Syndrome.
If you know anything about us here at Steele Family Farm, you know that we were blessed to be part of “The Lucky Few” when Jake was born in 2009. Our family has the tattoo on our wrists to serve as a daily reminder that we are indeed lucky to have been blessed by Jake.
The three arrows represent the extra copy of the 21st chromosome and how we rise up and move forward.
Our Farm Fresh Candle Line is made using our goat milk and organic soy wax. Each candle is hand-poured into a metal tin. We use 100% soy produced by soybean farmers in the midwest and a wooden wick that produces a clean-burning, quality, and eco-conscious candle. Each candle has a burn time of approximately 40 hours.
- Handpoured and Handcrafted in the U.S.A.

Wooden Wick Care:
- Keep the wooden wick short and trimmed. Burn in 2 to 4-hour increments to ensure an even wax pool. To preserve the longevity of the scent, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Your first burn should last 60-plus minutes so the wax can melt evenly. An uneven wax pool can drown the wick & cause problems lighting it
